The 20th Anniversary season!

We will be bringing some exciting changes and innovations to MAPS as we embark on our 20th season. The first of which is...well...let's just say the WINDS are changing! We are and always will be a percussion based organization at heart, but with the emergence of the Winds division at WGI, we wanted to keep in step and offer a place for those groups to compete as well. We will be having a Winds division for the 2019 anniversary season of MAPS. More details will be forthcoming, but we intend to uphold and be governed by WGI rules as we do with percussion. If you've ever wanted to do a winds group, now is the time and MAPS is the place!

It is our pleasure to announce the newest edition to the MAPS team! Kate Hartney will be filling the role of Social Media Coordinator. Kate will be bringing content to you on various social media platforms, staying connected with you in the off season, and providing some innovative coverage during our competitive events. Welcome Kate!

We are very blessed to have Chris Maher taking high quality pictures of so many of our performers all season long. Be sure to check them out on the MAPS Facebook page.  We also encourage you to support Chris on his site linked below...

It is with heavy hearts that we report the passing of our friend, MAPS treasurer, and founding member Dale Brown. Dale had been the treasurer and travel coordinator for MAPS in all of our 19 years in existence. He was one of 6 people who were at the inaugural meeting of folks who became MAPS in June of 1999. He will be sorely missed by us all. Rest in peace "Double Check".
